Emily Taylor –
Trainee Solicitor

Emily is a Trainee Solicitor
and is obtaining legal experience alongside studying for the SQE at BPP

At Private Client Solicitors we are devoted to protecting your private wealth.

Emily is a Trainee Solicitor at PCS having initially joined the firm as a Legal Administrative Assistant in June 2022 whilst undertaking the final year of her law degree. She enjoyed being able to obtain first hand legal experience whilst finalising her studies and was promoted to the role of paralegal after graduating.

She particularly enjoys learning from more experienced PCS solicitors in relation to how they tailor estate planning to a family’s unique dynamics and needs; whether this be in relation to trusts or Wills or both!

Emily intends to grow with PCS and wants to continually expand her knowledge of Private Client law while working alongside notable solicitors and partners.

She aims to provide a comforting environment in difficult situations and conversations by avoiding legal jargon and being personable.

Emily has recently enjoyed working on matters involving:

  • Assisting professional deputies in Court of Protection matters
  • Registering trusts – both taxable and non-taxable
  • Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney and promoting their necessity
  • Assisting in probate applications and estate administrations in a timely and organised manner. In such challenging times for the families, Emily is keen to work alongside her team in a way that minimises any worries for them
